Rooted in Indonesia. Growing what’s next.
AKAR, meaning “root” in Indonesian, combines controlled-environment agriculture, IoT and farm operations. Our next chapter is berry infrastructure, starting with strawberries.

Healthy food, grown locally. Everywhere.
We want healthy food to be accessible and sustainable, grown near the people who need it.
Our mission is farming the future, sustainably: combining agriculture and technology so cities, remote regions and climate-affected communities can produce food all year.
Three places conventional farming struggles.
Farms inside the city
Near malls, hotels, campuses and rooftops, shortening food miles for dense cities.
Food where soil can’t help
Year-round output where soil, distance or harsh conditions make farming hard.
Harvests the weather can’t ruin
Controlled environments and live monitoring protect crops from unpredictable seasons.
Built in Indonesia. Designed to travel.
